July 7, 2015 - Quinta Mazatlan & Old Hidalgo Pumphouse

Zebra Heliconian settled down along the loop trail at Quinta Mazatlan

Female Band-winged Dragonlet back near the apartments

Two-barred Flasher with (left) and without the flash; the colors show up differently in each!  (Near the new Education Center)

Something apparently attacked and killed this little bat, but my best guess is Eastern Pipistrelle.

Some "awww" moments in the lives of a Chachalaca pair at the amphitheater feeders!

Great Kiskadee is more interested in the peanut butter feeder...

Over at the Old Hidalgo Pumphouse, the shock of the morning was this Erato Heliconian hanging around the "Shadow Trail" just past the amphitheatre (at the base of the pumphouse building)!

I think these are just male and female Thornbush Dashers, but I'm open to suggestions!
